Study Guide for MOWR II Quiz #1
This study guide is posted in the "Study Guides" folder below.
Please make good use of it!
Note-Taking in Class
Mr. Greer will no longer post lecture notes on this page.
You will each need to put the cell phones away, sit-up, pay attention and write your own notes throughout the lecture portion of each class.
You want to be college students? This is how it's done.
Technology Information for Parents and Students
This year, as a cost-saving measure, Mr. Greer's classes will be as "paperless" as possible. We have a class set of 34 Google Chrome Books for students in my classroom. This will benefit the students in the following ways:
1. All handouts, study guides, Power Point presentations, links to video clips, worksheets, etc.will now be accessible on-line for parents and students to view.
2. All assignments will be accessible on-line for students and parents to view. There is also a calendar function, which shows due dates of all assignments and projects. Therefore, students who are absent can keep up at home. Students are highly encouraged to take advantage of this feature and to bring their own flash-drive to class, so that they can download any material they need, if they don't have internet access at home.
3. Quizzes and exams will be posted on-line and will be administered with the Chrome Books, to preclude the costs of photocopies.
4. To the maximum extent possible, work can be e-mailed to Mr. Greer at email@example.com. Parents/guardians should monitor Parent Connect, several times a week, in order to keep track of their student's progress! Please call or e-mail me with any questions that might arise.
The information is there for you, so go get it!
So far, this year is off to a great start in the new building!
